Yes, though they carry less copper than power cables, so their rate is lower.
Do you buy cable with the plugs still attached?
Yes. Power cords and extension leads are accepted as they are.
Should I burn the insulation off?
No. Please never burn cables. It is dangerous and harmful, and we buy insulated cable as it is.
